The production of silicas and silicates is well formed one of the major parts of the inorganic chemical industry. These materials are used in a wide variety of applications. Silicate fillers (pyrogenic, silicon dioxide, precipitated silicon dioxide, alum(ionexchange silicon dioxide, mixed spinel-silica pigments and surface treatment silica) are used as special pigments for production of protective paints.
