    Surface Pretreatment by Alkaline Degreasing.

  • Original language description

Degreasing compounds are mixtures of alkaline silicates, phosphates and carbonates, potentially completed with some other inorganic compounds and surfactans. They are used for degreasing of things made of steel, and also as additive for other degreasingdisinsecting in some food plants. The addition of organic inhibitors into degreasing solutions or rinsing water prevent from corrosion of degresing surfaces.
