The PVC and specially the CPVC values are important characteristics of pigments for the applications to binder systems. The pigments and fillers with nonisometric particle shapes involve a specific case, as the shapes and sizes of particles exhibit diffeisometric particles. The paper deals with the properties of coatings systems with lamellar particles and the determination of CPVC value in the properties of pigmented systems.
