Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane by Nitrous Oxide and/or Oxygen over Co-Beta Zeolite
Original language description
There was studied oxidative dehydrogenation of propane where the nitrous oxide or mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen was used as an oxidant. There was found that nitrous oxide is more selective but less active oxidant than molecular oxygen. Some peculiarities were found for reaction of propane with mixture of both oxidant. The increasing concentration of N2O in reaction mixture results in substantial increasing of conversion of propane while selectivity to propene remains constant. Synergy effect of O2and N2O led to achieve even threefold greater yield of propene than in the case of O2 or N2O as a oxidant.
