Synthesis of 2-(2-Subst.phenyl)-1H-imidazole Derivatives
Original language description
New 2-(2-alkoxyphenyl)-1H-imidazoles have been prepared from 2-(2-alkoxyphenyl)-1H-imidazolines using dehydrogenation on Pd/C in toluene. Dehydrogenation with MnO2 or oxidation using Fremy's salt have been also successfully realized. Synthetic ways leading to 2-(2-disubst.aminophenyl)-1H-imidazoles have been tested.
