The paper deals with properties of zinc powder on the corrosion inhibition efficiency of coatings. the particle size distribution of zinc powder manifest thermselves especially in the mode of arrangement and affecting the electrochemical mechanism of action in the coating. The lamellar and isometric particle shapes affect especially the barrier action and physocomechanical properties of the coating.
