    Properties of Surface Treated Silica Based Fillers in Coatings

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the properties of fillers with nonisometric particle shapes, which have been subjected to a surface treatment and precipitating the hematite layer. The filler samples based on silicates, especially of the talc type with a different composition of oxidic phases, further special three-component filler composing of mica, quartz and talc (Plastorite), and further muscovite mica have been evaluated. The fillers were applied to coatings and the anticorrosion and physicomechanical properties were evaluated.
