Polished silver solid amalgam electrode (p-AgSAE) appears to be a good alternative to hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE). The present work focuses on analysis of the electrode material and of the working electrode surface. It has been demonstrated that this electrode can be successfully used in inorganic electrochemical measurements for determination of metal cations, nitrates, and thiocyanates, etc.*

Czech description
Leštěná stříbrná pevná amalgámová elektroda (p-AgSAE) se jeví jako vhodná alternativa k visící rtuťové kapkové elektrodě (HMDE). Tato práce je zaměřena na analýzu elektrodového materiálu a pracovního povrchu elektrody. Bylo prokázáno, že tato elektroda může být úspěšně použita v oblasti anorganických elektrochemických měření pro stanovení kationů, dusičnanů, thiokyanatanů, atd.
