The research at the department of inorganic technology is focused on the synthesis of colour inorganic pigments that can be used for colouring of plastics, glazes or building materials. They can be described by (Bi2O3)1-x (Ln2O3)x formula and contain rare earth elements, namely yttrium, erbium and holmium. Their colour properties have been investigated.

Výzkum na katedře anorganické technologie je zaměřen na syntézy z barevných anorganických pigmentů, které mohou být použity pro zbarvení plastů, glazur nebo stavebních materiálů. Mohou být popsaný (Bi2O3)1-x (Ln2O3)x vzorcem a obsahují prvky vzácných zemin, a to yttrium, erbium a holmium. Jejich barevné vlastnosti byly zkoumány.
