Trends in Printing Quality Evaluation
Original language description
Current trends in the European printing industry are relatively optimistic but differ considerably in Eastern and Western Europe. Trends in printing industry could be characterized by globalization, full digitalization of prepress irrespective of printing techniques, optimization of all processes (maximizing productivity, optimizing quality, minimizing costs, widening of services for customers. The quality of prints produced by different printing techniques is now comparable and standard. Standardisation is particularly relevant to the optimisation of print quality and this indirectly affects overall printing efficiency.
