    Structural Relaxation Study of GeS2-Sb2S3 Chalcogenide Glasses

    This work is concentrated on the study of structural relaxation of chalcogenide glasses related to the viscosity behaviour of their undercooled liquids. The enthalpy relaxation of pseudobinary glass (GeS2)y(Sb2S3)1-y (y = 0.2 and 0.3) was studied using differential scanning calorimeter. Relaxation behaviour of the studied chalcogenide glasses was described by Tool-Narayanaswamy-Moynihan model and the parameters of this model (effective activation energy ?h*, parameter of non­exponentiality, parameter ofnonlinearity and pre­exponencial factor) were determined. The effective activation energy of TNM model is close to the activation energy of viscous flow of undercooled liquid.

    Tato práce je zaměřena na studium strukturní relaxace chalkogenidových skel a viskozitní chování jejich podchlazených tavenin. Pomocí diferenciální skenovaní kalorimetrie byla studována entalpická relaxace pseudobinárních skel (GeS2)y(Sb2S3)1-y (kde y =0.2 and 0.3). Relaxační chování těchto skel bylo popsáno Tool-Narayanaswamy-Moynihan modelem a byly určeny parametry tohoto modelu (zdánlivá aktivační energie ?h*, parametr neexponenciality, parametr nelinearity a předexponenciální faktor). Hodnota zdánlivé aktivační energie TNM modelu je blízká hodnotě aktivační energie viskózního toku podchlazené kapaliny.
