    The Comparing of The Effect of Glass Transition Temperature and Pigment Volume Concentration on the Total Anticorrosive Efficiency of Binders, Paints and Anticorrosive Paints Based on Alkyd and Epoxy Resins

    This paper presents the results of relationships of glass transition temperatures and pigment volume concentration with respect to anticorrosive protection of binders, paints and anticorrosive paints. The paints and anticorrosive paints were prepared indifferent formulations from two commercial alkyd and epoxy resins, i.e. CHS-ALKYD S 471 X 60, CHS-ALKYD S 622 N 60, and CHS?EPOX 210 X 75, CHS-EPOXY 531 respectively. The pigment volume concentration in the formulations was changed in the range from 10 to 40 vol. %. The corrosion resistance of coatings was measured by accelerated corrosion tests, which were done in two different condensation chambers containing SO2 or water steam + neutral salt spray. The glass transition temperature Tg of paints and anticorrosive paints was measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).

    Příspěvek se zabýva vztahem mezi teplotou skelného přechodu a objemovou koncentraví pigmentu s ohledem na antikorozní vlastnosti nátěrového filmu. Byly připraveny nátěrové hmoty na bázi epxidové a alkydové pryskyřice jako jsou CHS-ALKYD S 471 X 60, CHS-ALKYD S 622 N 60, and CHS?EPOX 210 X 75, CHS-EPOXY 531.Objemová koncentrace pigmentu byla zvolena v řadě 10 až 40 %. Korozní odolnost byla stanovena pomcí urychlených korozních testů. Teplota skelného přechodu byla měřena pomocí DSC.
