Original language description
Silicone and acrylate paints based on photocatalytic active nanooxides were formulated and evaluated. Antimicrobial properties of coatings were evaluated using agar plate methods and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Penicillium chrysogenum and Aspergillus niger suspension as a testing microorganisms. The antimicrobial activity of coatings was evaluated by dilute and diffuse method. The coatings contained nanoparticles of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide showed the antimicrobial activity against testing microorganisms. Whereas coating with zinc oxides nanoparticles successfully inhibited the growth of both bacteria and fungi, the photocatalytic nanoparticles of titanium dioxide inhibited bacteria but not fungi (weak inhibition has been observed).

Antimikrobiální aktivita nátěrů byla testována diluční a difuzní metodou. jako testovací mikroorganismy byly použity Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Penicillium chrysogenum a Aspergillus niger. Nanopartikule oxidu zinečnatého působily inhibičně na všechny testované mikroorganismy. Oxid titaničitý inhiboval pouze bakterie a nikoliv plísně.
