Synthesis and Structural Study on the Organoantimony(III) and Organobismuth(III) Hydroxides Containing the NCN Pincer Type Ligand
Original language description
The reactions of the dimeric organoantimony(III) oxide containing the NCN chelating ligand L, with the trifluoroacetic and the trifluoromethanesulfonic acid gave unprecedented organoantimony hydroxides LSb(OH)(X) (X = triflate or trifluoroacetate). On the other hand, analogous reaction with the acetic acid and the tetrafluroboric acid led to a polar group exchange. By an analogy, the reaction of the organobismuth oxide gave the bismuth acetate in the reaction with the acetic acid, but the hydroxide LBi(OH)(triflate) was obtained, when the trifluoromethanesulfonic acid was used.
