The study of anticorrosion properties of mixed oxide pigments in epoxyester coatings
Original language description
This paper deals with synthesis of mixed oxide pigment strontium titanate (tausonite) -SrO.TiO2 and barium titanate - BaO.TiO2 and the study of their anticorrosion efficiency in epoxyester resin. Anatase modification of titanium dioxide - TiO2 was chosenas a pigments for comparison. Prepared mixed oxide pigments were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. Physical properties were measured for all pigments. Model organic coatings were prepared from all pigments. Anticorrosion efficiency of pigments was determined by the help humidity test, cyclic corrosion test in a combined chamber with salt mist and cyclic corrosion test in a condenser chamber in the SO2 atmosphere.
