Viscosity of selenium melts
Original language description
Viscosity of selenium was measured by using three different methods; the penetration method, the parallel-plate method and the rotating bob method. The experimental data are compared with numerous viscosity data reported previously. Temperature dependence of all these results are expressed by the Adam-Gibbs (AG) and the Vogel-Fulcher-Tamman (VFT) equations. The nature of the glass transition and the significance of adjustable parameters of AG and VFT equations have been discussed.
