Original language description

This work is focused on formulation and testing of intumescent coatings for protection of the steel against fire. Intumescent coatings based on copolymer dispersion vinyl acetate-vinylester of versatic acid were prepared. Effects of fillers on char formation and consequently on fire-resistant properties were studied.
