Management of Suporting Processes in Quick Response System
Original language description
A response rate on emerged customer requirement is one of the most important factors of customer satisfaction. This is the reason why companies are developing new systems of building and delivering value based mostly on integration of logistic systems among companies. First, these so-called Quick Response systems appeared in textile, clothing and food industries. But these systems could be applied also in other industries. However, it requires a new approach to management of business processes. Reorganizing or restructuring is usually necessary not only within main logistic processes (sales, production and purchase) but also within processes directly supporting the main processes (packaging, transportation, energy and maintenance). Management of thesesupporting processes is influenced by both the management of main logistic processes within the company and also the management of similar supporting processes in companies of business partners engaged in the chain.
