Original language description
The results are reported of numerical solution of the creeping flow of a Carreau model fluid over a rigid sphere in a cylindrical tube using a finite element method. A formula is suggested approximating the results of the numerical calculations. The validity of this formula was verified by comparing the calculated wall factor data with those resulting from expetiments.
