Possibilities of Copper Removal from Aqueous Filtrate Obtained from Ullmann Biaryl Synthesis
Original language description
The main objective of this work is to study the applicability of efficient and cheap method in the copper removal from aqueous filtrate obtained in the work up of the Ullmann biaryl synthesis reaction mixture. The copper removal efficiency from three filtrates (industrial wastewater samples) has been investigated using precipitation and/or reduction processes. According to the results, either precipitation using the sodium, iron(III) or aluminium hydroxide or combination of precipitation-reduction usingMgCO3 powder together with iron turnings, exhibited a strongest copper removal efficiency with the studied wastewater samples.
