The ecotoxicity of metal nanoparticles is one of the most important up-to-date challenges. There is lack of information about silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) behavior in liquid medium applicable for fish acute toxicity test. In our study we focuses on the aggregation process of 40 nm AgNPs in demineralized water and liquid medium prepared by OECD 203 guideline. For example the hydrodynamic diameter increased from 40 nm to 670 nm over time period 80 min for 250 microM Ag colloid. The influence of Ag concentration (1 - 250 microM) and the ionic strength (7 - 680 microS/cm were studied and kinetic rates were determined.
