Study of Ceramic Pigments Based on Cobalt Doped Y2O3-Al2O3 System
Original language description
The aim of the present work was to synthetized the ceramic pigments based on yttrium aluminum oxide doped by cobalt oxide as a colorant agent and to evaluate resulted powders with respect to their phase composition, colour properties and particle size distribution. The powders were synthesized by conventional ceramic method, i.e. solid state reaction with heating at high temperatures (1100-1400°C). The main objective was to observe how increase of reactivity of starting materials by intensive milling process or mineraliser LiF may affect the phase composition and pigment-application properties of the products.
