The evaluation of new types of biodegradable sequestering agents and self-sequestering surfactants
Original language description
The sequestrate agents and tensides are one of textile auxiliary agents. Those are ingredients in a variety of products, such as detergents, household and industrial cleaners, in the area of textile finishing, dyeing or water softening. Then the self - sequestering surfactants should combine the properties of surfactants and sequestering agents. And considering to the environment they should also have biodegradability. The sequestration capacity was evaluated to Ca2+ ions by precipitating opacity titration. The surface tension was evaluated of stalagmometric method. The prepared samples were tested at model washing conditions. Great benefit of prepared samples is their good biodegradability, which exceed 60%.
