Original language description
This contribution deals with the study of process combining both membrane microfiltration and ionic exchange using several additives. The paper summarizes results of previous studies dealing with combined hollow fiber membrane microfiltration operated atdead-end configuration.The preliminary batch experiments were performed for the sorptive kinetics and the sorptive capacity determination. From these measurements the parameters of Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were determined. Then, the experimental set-up was used with dead-end hollow fiber microfiltration unit. For verification of combined process the membrane microfiltration and ion-exchange for real surface water was realized.
