Original language description
This paper describes the removing nitrates from salted mine wastewater with denitrification, once there is used pond mud resp. activated sludge from biological WWTP. Experiments were realized in a laboratory, a bench and pilot plants. Denitrification parameters - redox potential, dissolved oxygen concentration, pH and temperature were monitored over the tests. There was achieved an efficiency of the nitrate removal within 65 - 70 % in pilot plant.
