    This paper deals with accelerated ageing of imiotations of historical prints using black ink on paper substrates. Two types of black printing inks, containing bone black and lamp black, were used to print onto a handmade paper and machine made made grandwood paper. The samples were exposed to heat, light and NO2 pollutions. Infrared spectroscopy using ATR technique, VIS reflectance spectroscopy and electron microscopy were used in sample analyses.
