A preliminary report is presented dealing with potentiometric ion-pair formation-based titrations of surfactants using a new type of sensing electrode, constructed like that of the coated-wire type with a polymeric membrane containing carbon powder to reduce its ohmic resistence. Examples of deternination of different types of surfactants are given.
