    Accelerating rate calorimetry - decomposition of nitroesters

  • Original language description

    The thermal decomposition of six nitroesters (methylnitrate, ethylene glycol dinitrate, propylene glycol dinitrate, glycerine trinitrate, erythritol tetranitrate and pentaerytritol tetranitrate) was studied with using of accelerating rate calorimetry. The classic heatwait-search mode was used; the decomposition of samples took place in adiabatic mode. Pressure and temperature profiles were measured.
