The structure and basic properties of iron zinc metaphosphate glasses
Original language description
The main aim of this work was to prepare glass samples of the iron zinc metaphosphate ternary system Fe2O3-ZnO-P2O5 and study the relations between the molecular structure and certain basic physical properties. The prepared glasses were characterised by density, microhardness, glass transition, softening temperature and the thermal expansion coefficient. The structure of the glasses has been investigated using Raman spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.
