Optimization of anodic stripping voltammetry conditions for efficient detection of quantum dots at micro flow-cell electrodes

  • Original language description

Micro flow-cell screen-printed electrodes were used for single and simultaneous electrochemical detection of core–shell CdSe/ZnS and core-type PbS quantum dots as newly emphasized nanolabels of antibodies in electrochemical immunosensors. Analysis in flow-cell arrangement ensures increased accumulation of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions released from such quantum dots after acidic dissolution. The optimizations in terms of flow rate and regulation were performed. Conditions of electrochemical detection, concretely deposition potential and time, conditional time, and necessity of working electrode pretreatment were optimized. Such conditions enable simultaneous analysis of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions released from CdSe/ZnS and PbS quantum dots at micro flow-cell screen-printed electrode without peak overlaps.
