Original language description
The article deals with the application of project management methods and tools by chemical industry companies in the Czech Republic. There are identified significant project management methods and tools and classifies them with respect to their primary applicability within individual project lifecycle stages. In results, there is presented the level of project management in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, there are presented outcomes of a qualitative research focussed on the application of project management methods and tools in chemical industry companies in the Czech Republic. The authors also present proposals of methodical measures for the area of project management to improve the success of implemented projects.
