Acoustic Signal Classification at Battlefield on Neural Network Basis
Original language description
This paper presents possibility of acoustic signal classification on the basis of neural network for two special types of signal (an explosion and a shot). The algorithm was realized in the MATLAB with the data acquired during battlefield situation. Significant portion of the proposed algorithm is signal preprocessing and suitable signal representation. The paper represents partial outcome of research work SONAR, sponsored by Ministry of Defense of Slovak Republic.
