Environmental accounting as a necessary indicator for the environmental performance, environmental management and the state of environment for different users (stakeholders) will be discussed. Also the main information concepts and approaches to the environmental and ecological accounting as well as relations to the EMS informational requirements will be considered. In terms of public administration, links with mezzo-level-views of origin of the environmental damage caused by companies and consequencesin other regions will be presented.
