Usage of business process tools for modeling requirements on system changes
Original language description
Company information environment has to fully support business processes. The company development and external influences lead into the processes changes, which are further reflected in demands on used information environment. The institutions need data from 'classical' transactional systems and from geographic information systems. Requirements for changes of spatially oriented data are more frequent than requirements for changes in classical systems. The reason is that technology conditions are developing, territories are changing, demands of users on spatial data are changing, etc. Another factor is that IT elements are today often outsourced. Change requests on information systems are repetitive and so they are actually repetitive instances. But ít is necessary to keep in mind specific conditions of outsourcing where the harmonization and sequences between contracting authority and vendor is significant. Therefore it is suitable to run RFC instances as the instances of modeled change
