Original language description
With the growing importance of sustainability issues many regions try to integrated environmental and social aspects into the strategic management system. However, these attempts were not always successful. The purpose of the paper is to present one wayhow sustainability could be incorporated into the strategic management of region development. On the base of literature review and analyses of selected case study the draft of sustainable Balanced Scorecard framework for region was developed. The main component of the proposed framework is dynamic strategic model which easily and clearly explains the whole strategy of the region as well as the links between economic, environmental and social aspects.
