Game Theory as a Tool of Research and Fight against Terrorism
Original language description
Terrorism is considered one of the most serious contemporary threats. Research and development of anti-terrorist strategies became an integral part of individual states and international organizations policies. National and international problems of terrorism have been often examined by means of the games theory. The authors assert that it is impossible to define the conflict parties individually without taking into consideration their reactions and mutual interaction. This article can be considered anintroduction to application of games theory in research and fight against terrorism. The conclusion demonstrates a practical example of a prisoner's dilemma.
