The fundamental determinant of long-term success not only of regions but also state is considered competitiveness. It is important indicator tells us more about the economic and social situation in the region. Regions are considered the driving force ofeconomic development and growth of national economies in the global economy. The aim of regional policy is effort to balanced development of areas, so that they can achieve their potential and achieve the growth of the state. The article deals with the analysis of regional disparities in regions in the Czech Republic before economic crisis and after that. The article aims is determine regions, which are more competitiveness and contribute to higher efficiency of the state. The situation will be examinebefore crisis and after that.
