    Computer Simulation of Absorption and Steady State Fluorescence Spectra of LH2 Complex - B850 and B800 Ring

  • Original language description

    Absorption and steady state fluorescence spectra for ring molecular systems are presented. The peripheral cyclic antenna unit LH2 of the bacterial photosystem from purple bacteria can be modeled by such system. The cumulant-expansion method of Mukamel etal. is used for the calculation of spectral responses of the system with exciton-phonon coupling. Dynamic disorder, interaction with a bath, in Markovian approximation simultaneously with uncorrelated static disorder in local excitation energies are taking into account in our simulations. We compare calculated absorption and steady state fluorescence spectra for full LH2 complex (B850 ring and B800 ring) with our previous results calculated only for B850 ring.
