The road transport as an important part of economic development has both of positive and negative impacts. There are many possibilities to contribute to sustainable road transport. One of the important conditions for the decision-making for sustainable transport is effective information about changes in environmental effects. This paper deals with the utilization possibilities of choice instrumental techniques - Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy, analytical ferrography and voltammetric methods in analysis of oils taken from engines and gear boxes of railroad and road vehicles. The study results of mentioned oils degradation are presented. Voltammetric measurements were focused on determination of nitro compounds.

Czech description
Silniční doprava jako významná součást ekonomického výzkumu má pozitivní i negativní dopady. Existuje řada možností jak přispět k trvale udržitelné silniční dopravě. Jednou z hlavních podmínek je dostatek informací o změnách vlivu na životní prostředí. Tato práce se týká využití vybraných instrumentálních metod - infračervené spektroskopie s fourierovou transformací, analytické ferrografie a voltametrických metod v analýze motorových a převodových olejů železničních a silničních vozidel. Jsou prezentovány výsledky sledování degradace zmíněných olejů. Voltametrické metody sloužily ke stanovení nitrolátek.
