The paper deals with the description of research on the testing stand and actual configuration of testing stand last year. Department of Electrical Engineering, Drive Section has been dealing with research work in field of drive control since 2004. The main goal is a research in field of control of traction PMSM. Advantages of PMSM are known well. This characteristic makes possible realization so-called direct drive (i.e. drive of axle or wheels without use of any gearbox) from viewpoint of vehicle construction.

Czech description
Článek se zabývá výzkumem na testovacím standu v dané konfiguraci za poslední období 2007-2008. Katedra elektrotechniky a elektroniky, oddělení pohonů se výzkumem trakčních pohonů zabývá již od roku 2004. Hlavním cílem výzkumu je soustředěna na zkoumánív oblasti řízení trakčního pohonu, který využívá synchronní motor s permanentními magnety tzv. přímého pohonu.
