Monitoring of track parameters in order to optimization of maintenance intervention is fundamental instrument of modern railway track management today. If this monitoring corresponds with existing analysis and reasons for rising defects, it?s possible toreduce some negative effects. The article deals with problematic of track monitoring in Czech Republic, especially in curves of small radius.

Sledování vývoje stavu trati za účelem optimalizace údržbových zásahů je v dnešní době nezbytným nástrojem moderní správy železničních tratí. Pokud je navíc doplněno teoretickým rozborem a možným zdůvodněním vznikajících vad, je možné některé negativní jevy omezit. V článku je přiblížena problematika sledování stavu trati na území České republiky.
