The paper deals with an analysis of increased vehicle dynamic effects in the course of passing over a turnout frog part of turnouts with rigid frogs. There are described methods used for an experimental determination of the vehicle dynamic effects in thefirst part of this paper and there are analyzed also measurement results in connection with a method of their evaluation. In the second part of this paper questions of the vehicle dynamic effects is theoretically analyzed based on the input informationexperimentally obtained. It means a simplified simulation of a vehicle running on a track with a given vertical irregularity accordant with passing over a turnout frog. Comparison of the simulation calculations have shown that passing over a turnout frogis possible to simulate by multi-body system but input data of vertical irregularities of wheel passing over a turnout frog should be described in sufficiently detail.
