Possibility of Load Simplification for Multiaxial Fatigue Test

  • Original language description

A multi-axial loading is usually used for experimental fatigue tests of rail vehicle bogie frames. It requires using of many actuators in the same time. Therefore tests are expensive, time-consuming and depended on laboratory equipment. The aim of the work is to determine a possibility to find a solution for reduction of total number of actuators in the test. A procedure of transformation from double-cylinder multi-axial test to single-cylinder test is described.
