EXPERIMENTAL MODEL OF CONICAL SHELL UNDER EXTERNAL PRESSURE
Original language description
This article deals with the loss of stability of the experimental model of the conical shell subjected to an external pressure. Experiment with real specimens is based on the numerical analysis, which it was performed in (3). The problem is limited to acase of the simply supported conical shell. The main task is to verify the numerical analysis results and the method of the preparation of the experimental models. Fully nonlinear analysis of the conical shells GMNA is performed in a computer program COSMOS/M based on the Finite Element method (FEM).
