    In the years of 2008-2009 there was realized the wide measurement of wear of wheel profiles of random selected goods wagons for company DT Prostějov. The results of wheels wear evaluation and assessment of statistically worn wheel profile is presented inthe paper. The evaluation and analysis was made in relation to effect on the characteristics of the contact geometry wheelset/track too.
