Nanoindentation techniques for the determination of mechanical properties of materials in dentistry.
Original language description
Information on material properties can be obtained by instrumented indentation from indenter load and displacement data. It is shown how hardness, elastic modulus, yield stress, stress-strain curves and other properties can be determined from indentationtests with monotonic or harmonic loading applied on homogeneous as well as heterogeneous materials.
