The main objective of this article consists in analysing the possibilities of optimizing check-in system using self-service technologies. These technologies could reduce the time needed for passenger check-in, increase the level of service and contributeto the passenger convenience. As a case study, the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague check-in system in Terminal 2 is analysed.
