Concise reliability for engineers
Original language description
The book explains the fundamental reliability concepts and tools for its evaluation and improvement. Chapters 1 - 10 explain the basic terms and methods for the determination of reliability characteristics, such as the failure probability and time to failure, reliability of systems, and failure analysis Also failure rate and the bathtub curve are explained. The second part (chapters 11 to 23) explains the advanced method for reliability assessment, such as the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Load-Resistance Interference Method, simulation method Monte Carlo, cost-based reliability optimisation, reliability testing, and methods based on Bayesian approach or fuzzy logic based on vague information.
