Report on Analysis of multimodal transport of chemical goods for the identification of modal shift was realized in cooperation with Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic (Ladislav Špaček; Václav Živec; Ivan Souček) and Ústí nad Labem region (Jan Sixta). Report consists of: description of the Czech Republic from the perspective of general description, economic development and transport infrastructure; development of multimodal transport; development of chemical industry sector and analysis of multimodal transport of chemical goods. The analysis of multimodal transport of chemical goods was executed in the period from September 19, 2016 to November 11, 2016 in the format of primary qualitative research that was co-ordinated under the project. A method of electronic structured questioning in combination with personal semi-structured questioning was used as the research technique. In total 19 questionnaires were sent out to chemical industry companies and to providers of logistic services.
