The paper deals with safety at work during low cyclic loading tests of composites with polymer reinforcing fibre. Autograph AG-X plus 5kN Shimadzu testing machine with a video-extensometer for large strain at tensile tests of composites with the test Control mode of TrapenziumX software as well as with hybrid temperature-humidity chamber is used for the cyclic loading tests in tensile with cycle loops. The hybrid temperature-humidity chamber allows to perform the tests from -60 to 180 °C, but it is important to point out that from 20 to 80 °C, it is possible to change the humidity from 30 to 95 %. Before tests, the operator inserts test samples to compressed-air jaws of testing machine. The operator has to be really careful because there is a risk of finger injuries during closing of the jaws. Moreover, besides the risk of injury from mechanical moving part - the machine's traverse moving during force loading, there is too high or low temperature in the chamber and it may cause hand burning. Next, the paper describes safety at work during high speed tests of tires and 3D printing of technical objects. The GERMAN RepRap X400 3D printer has DD3 dual extruder which can be heated, for instance, even to 245 °C for polypropylene. During filament exchange, you have to wait for nozzle cooling, but sometimes it needs immediate action and therefore, the fingers can be burned by really hot nozzle. The operator has to be very careful during the printing process.
